One of the main things that I like about this browser is that it has an excellent synchronization system between devices, when you create a Microsoft account you can link as many devices as you want, and when you have several tabs open in your mobile device, you can transfer these tabs to the desktop version with just a simple button, this function is quite important and works great, you can send all the tabs you want without any limits. Pros: Microsoft Edge is an excellent browser, I would even dare to say that it is the most powerful browser today, offering comfort when browsing the Internet and entering various websites, it also offers a fairly comfortable interface to use the entire browser. In the 5+ years that Edge has been out, it is still just as slow as the retired Internet Explorer. Based from experience, I believe most time that is spent on the browser is spent either personalizing it or sorting through notifications that constantly recommend Office 365 and Outlook. Edge is essentially just an advertisement for the rest of Microsoft's products while the browser itself is never updated. While its features are easy to access and manage, the ancient browser takes far too long to load them in correctly that it would simply be much faster and easier to use any other method possible. The browser crashes often, sometimes requiring the computer to be restarted for no apparent reason. Overall: Edge is the slowest modern web browser taking an average of about 5 seconds to load the homepage on high end devices, and much longer on normal devices. Pros: The browser allows for more customization and personalization than other recommended browsers, as well as serving as an access point to other Microsoft products.Ĭons: Slow, littered with ads, crashes computers, takes up processing power, windows may remain open after you've closed them.
